I am passionate about helping people establish confidence and acceptance in their identity by learning to be mindful and to increase compassion for themselves and others. Put into terms as populations and diagnoses, I specialize in Trauma, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Shame-Resilience and Parenting.
My hope is that clients gain an understanding of who they are and who they want to become.
I utilize a lot of mediums and tools to fit an individual's needs, but I focus on Trauma-focused CBT, Mindful Self-Compassion and Shame Resilience tools to establish a helpful baseline to learn to build a better narrative from.
We can't learn about ourselves and learn to tell our stories if we always feel like we are responsible or at fault. We have to learn how to be kind to ourselves.

Journey of a Therapist
I have been honing my skills as a therapist since 2010. I began my journey toward this profession in Seattle, WA, where I was lucky enough to work with many different people, organizations and presenting issues. After becoming a mother for the first time, my family and I decided it was time for a change and made the move to Ann Arbor, MI. I have been fortunate to have worked with many amazing people and be apart of their journey of life. Experiencing a lot of hardship in my own life, I know it is not easy to get through, but I know that it is worth it and that is what drives me.
